If a basement is damp, worn or impractically laid out, it often becomes a dark storeroom that cannot be used safely. For an apartment association, this is a concern, as the spaces are hard to keep in order.
We offer a complete solution that covers basement renovation and the construction of new storage units. Since 2006, we have built over 400 basement storage units in apartment buildings in Tartu, Tartu County and elsewhere in South Estonia.
The service is intended primarily for refurbishing basements in apartment buildings and for apartment associations.

Building basement storage units and renovating basements: what we do
Refurbishing a basement is a whole in which different tasks must support each other. We do the following:
- Basement renovation – damp control, ventilation improvements, restoring floors and walls
- Demolition of old storage units – removal and disposal of existing structures
- Building new storage units – metal mesh walls, lockable doors and clearly separated units
- Lighting installation – better visibility and safer use
We make the metal components in our own workshop in Kambja.
PROCESS
Ordering the service: how it works
Building basement storage units always starts with assessing the actual condition of the site.
- Initial contact – describe the project (number of units, condition of the basement, location)
- Site inspection – we assess the condition of the basement and measure the rooms
- Quote – we usually send a quote within 3–5 working days
- Carrying out the work – we agree on a schedule and complete the work
Renovating a typical basement with 20–30 storage units and installing new units takes 2–4 weeks on average, depending on the condition of the basement and the scope of work.
